Bringing Care Closer: What Community Health

At our recent community medical outreach in Ijoko, Ota (Ogun State), Solayo Africa, in partnership with Deeper Life Campus Fellowship, reached over 345 women with essential healthcare services and support.

From free medical consultations and medications to health screenings, diagnostic tests, and educational sessions, the goal was clear to bring care closer to women who need it, in a way that is accessible, practical, and immediate.

But beyond the services delivered, what stood out was the energy, openness, and willingness of women to learn, ask questions, and take charge of their health.

This is the gap we are working to close.

At Solayo Africa, we understand that maternal and reproductive health outcomes are not only determined in hospitals, but they are also shaped in communities, in conversations, and in everyday decisions.

Our community outreach initiatives are designed to:

  • Extend healthcare beyond clinical walls
  • Improve awareness and early health-seeking behaviour
  • Build trust within underserved communities
  • Connect women to continuous support systems

Because access is not just about availability — it is about proximity, understanding, and trust.

This outreach is a reflection of our broader vision:
To build a future where every woman, regardless of location or income, has access to the care, information, and support she needs.

And we are just getting started.

We look forward to deepening partnerships, reaching more communities, and continuing to drive meaningful impact — one woman, one community at a time.
